While some of us may enjoy a long weekend this week, for the rest it is just peeking around the corner. So for some weekend wedding inspiration, we leave you with a few pictures of wedding aisles. We are not really big fans of wedding aisle runners....it's so yesterday. But as you can see, it is now trendy to walk down a flower-petalled wedding aisle.

We, in fact, love this idea as it can go with the theme of your wedding colours. While real flower petals or freeze-dried ones are more environmentally friendly, you can also use faux petals made out of fabrics that will last longer.
{Image from Studio 5}But first thing first, do check out from your venue provider if they do allow petals to be used as a wedding aisle runner as some do have strict rules about it, especially in churches and on the beach.
